My Favorite New Tracks: A Music Update

Møn · Hugo Selles

I love this haunting track Møn by composer Hugo Selles. I love the build and dynamic range of the synths in this one. Highly recommend!

In the Blue Shadows by Irish Pianist Brian Crosby

Really beautiful, haunting track by Irish pianist/composer Brian Crosby. Here’s what the artist had to say about the track.

“Here’s the third single from my record Imbrium called In The Blue Shadows – a modulating and peaceful piece recorded on a restored August Forster upright from the 1920s.”

Ashdum by Miro Lange

Really interesting track I found. I loved what the composer had to say about the inspiration.
“It’s inspired by archaic rituals, has a intense buildup and is sung in two languages. English and an own one of a self-modified alphabet. Ashdum is about releasing your inner power and energy. Supported by chantings, inspired by throat singing, mixed with several instruments and drums. This release is my first intense step towards creating soundtrack like songs.”

Pt. III: Construction by Twice As Bright

This track reminded me of Pink Floyd’s The Wall and other Roger Waters’ tunes. Very clever lyrics and I highly recommend his music!

FCKWITHME by Kristian J

Really great dance moves and music video by Korean queer pop artist based in Mexico City. I loved the video and can’t wait to listen other music from this artist!

Van Gogh by Pr0files

The track ‘Van Gogh’ by Pr0files is their first release in 5 years. It’s a really great combination of synth wave and other retro styles that draw from films like Drive and Blade Runner.

Mother Earth is Calling by Jade Ashtangini

I love the cello and piano in this delightful new piece by Jade Ashtangini. Definitely recommend her other work!

Introspective Whispers by Raf21

Really pretty piano from composer Raf21 and a great one to add to your reading playlist.
