Music Update: Listen to This New Music! October 25th, 2022

Pink Tax by Deaf Peach

Deaf Peach is a side project that the artist categorizes as ‘bubblegrunge bubble’ and one where she has done all of the visuals and instruments. Highly recommend!

Falling by Friendly Fire Club

Really neat track by Friendly Fire Club. It’s a mix of indie-pop, dreampop and bedroom pop. Check it out!

Je Cours by Krisildo

This is a fun song in French that gives me nostalgia of older band boy material and the production is fun and creative.

I Feel Your Love by Leadback & Bruno Watts

Fun electronica, dance track by French DJ Leadback. Here’s what the artist had to say.

“In 2003 he went to Paris to improve his skills in scratch and MOA with DJ Eanov as a teacher, then went on to various radio competitions and finished 1st in the French DJ Championship. Back in the south he performs as DJ in different clubs and before clubs in the south of France. In 2008 he created a school of dj and teaches DJs of the South and other the bases of the mix scratch and MAO.”

Supposed to Be by Frank Black

Really witty and one of my new favorite Hip Hop tracks I’ve heard this year. The artist says that “this a song about how complicated and confusing relations can get with age.” I can definitely relate with this the older I get and things change over time.

Afeto no caos by Thalia

I love finding new music from the world and I love the beat on this track. It’s great!

Planet by Kostandino

Great beat and I loved the intro especially. Here’s what the artist had to say:

“This could be looked at as taking the world and doing what you want or being negative and saying fuck the “work. Does anyone care about the planets you make” Does anyone care about you. As in do you have to become a doctor or someone that is “better”. “Can anyone do it unless you say Or is everybody just getting pushed away” Don’t let anyone change you. Push them away or cut them off”

Reveries by M. Cross Dougherty

I really liked this track by ambient artist M. Cross Dougherty. The textures are beautiful and here is some what the artist had to say. “I am excited to share “Reveries” and potentially work with you. The track was built entirely from personally created samples and uses granular synthesis subtly to create a blissfully undulating atmosphere.”

Op.6 No 6 by Silvano Zanatto

This is really beautiful, brooding track by Italian composer Silvano Zanatto. I highly recommend adding it to your playlists for study and relaxation.
