I hope everyone had a good weekend, let’s also not forget those who perished and the brave men and women who were heroes and served during 9/11. Here’s your music update for September 12, please support these new artists and add them on Spotify!
The first track is “Hello” by JB Lite. It’s a catchy summer track with some summery vibes. I liked the simple chord progression and feel free to check out his other music! Here’s a little message from the artist!
“HELLO beautifully captures the soul of the artist, JB Lite, in highlighting the amazement and surreal world of finding a deep love in a partner.”
The next track is by Asian artist Kiey. I loved what he had to say about this track!
“Sunday Sanctuary is the first single from the sophomore album of the same name. The song at its core is about the serenity and happiness of spending time with loved ones on a Sunday. The lyrical content describes the feeling of exhaustion after a busy week of work and the joy of spending the whole of Sunday with someone be it a lover or a family member doing various mundane activities (taking walks, shopping, drinking coffee etc). In my vision, the message and tone of the song represents the overarching sweet and euphorically pleasant mood of the album, that’s why it’s been decided as the first single which the album will be named after.”
The next track is a more chill Lo-Fi track that gives me thoughts of an older detective film. The artist had this to say about the track.
“I think this song is something alot of people will enjoy, it’s unique and has a crime detective in the realy 1900’s vibe to it, i was inspired by L.A Noir with it’s upbeat jazzy style, so i made a lofy variant of thoes songs.”
This next track “Barcelona’ by Guillem S. Benet has an epic and nice sounding string section that really complements the piano. Here are some notes from the artist.
“Barcelona is my first composition inspired by my years of life in this wonderful city. I recovered my enthusiasm for music after years of professional inactivity and it is my particular tribute to the city, art and culture. Thank you Barcelona for everything you have given me.”
This new track ‘Endlessly’ by Neon Black Dreams is one of my newest favorites. It starts out with haunting synths and the video is really well done! I got some Julee Cruise vibes from the vocals and loved the production. Check out what the artist had to say about the track!
“Endlessly is the new ballad from Synthpop / Synthwave band Neon Black Dreams. This track opens with melancholic piano melody that explores what love means and how it drives the human soul. This song is about never letting go of your heart and trusting that true love will always reunite the heart. The dual meaning of the lyrics also mirrors love with the power of addiction to demonstrate the power of both.”
