Incredible New Music by Artist Stef

Dark pop singer-songwriter and Nashville native, stef, released her lamentable new single “Funeral” early morning the Friday of February 18th, just days after the world’s most controversial holiday – Valentine’s Day. Whether listeners had a valentine or not, the holiday awakens something in everyone that causes one to reminisce on current or past relationships. For the latter, stef’s song articulates the question we have all consciously or subconsciously asked ourselves before: “If I died, would that person still come to my Funeral?”. The calamitous concept is soul-wrenching and can melt even the iciest of hearts. Over the past year, stef has taken fans on an emotional, tumultuous journey following the release of her debut album, “A Glitch in Our Virtual Reality” in 2021.

Including her break-out hit single “hi, my name is lonely” continuing to amass millions of streams online, the album also contains what was once arguably stef’s most vulnerable song “i used to build dreams about you”. The song was stef’s insightful story surrounding the hopes and dreams she previously held for the year-long relationship she was in at the time. Since then, the aforementioned newly released single “Funeral” takes listeners even deeper down stef’s prolific cave of sentiments – creating a space for the ebbs and flows of the angry, grieving, and broken-hearted to ultimately find solace, and know that they are no longer alone in their feelings.
