Sussex-based singer/songwriter Hetty Clark melds spacious soundscapes and riveting vocal emotion, embracing an inventive vein of downtempo electronic pop. Her songs are often understated, emitting hypnotic qualities.
Hetty is inspired by raw, reverb-drenched sounds, from artists such as The xx, London Grammar and James Blake. “High of You,” was co-created with composer Guy Jackson in London and mixed in Brighton by Olly Shelton, a Brighton-based producer who is also one-half of the pop duo PELA. Hetty’s solo material and previous projects have drawn praise from outlets such as Atwood Magazine, Obscure Sound, Unheard Gems, Vehlinggo, antiMusic, and more.
